The bidding was intense with bids starting from 1500 and touching 2000 mark within 2 minutes of the process. The teams had no doubts in mind as the figure kept going beyond 3000 and still the bid were loud and fast. Past 3300 the bids came slow and the teams seemed like they had hit their stop loss point. Till 3000 the bids came in increments of 100's and at times even 200's, but past 3300 the bids came in increments of 50
.
Who said the bidding was gonna be settled so soon. The bids are past 4000 and still going strong :).
The bid has gone past 4500 and still showing no signs of stopping. It seems Varun/Mayank and Kuldeep/Sudeep aren't gonna let it go :).
Concealed bidding under progress now for Gladiators. I am only imagining phone numbers for this bid :)
A stalemate here due to slight confusion in the rules. The bidding is suspended for the time being. We're starting with the bidding once all the teams are clear with the rules. It seems now that when the bidding touches 5000 mark the open bidding stops and then we'll have concealed bidding to decide the winner.
After a lot of confusion; the bidding is going to start afresh with Rs 1500 for Aryan Juggernauts.
and BANG! Varun/Mayank bid 5000 at the start. Then the OC decided to ask for a show of hands of the teams who're interested in bidding for Aryans and all teams except Ishani/Kashyap are in the race. Now we're having concealed bids for the Aryan Juggernauts :)
For a whopping Rs 8350 Aryan Juggernauts goes to - Kuldeep/Sudeep
Next team on the bidding table is - Southern Stallions.
Again Mayank/Varun start off with 1550. Some others came up with small numbers until Raghav/Srinivas came up with Rs 5000 and we again had concealed bidding.
All the teams are in the fray this time and the bids are being written as I type. This is so exciting. I once again wish we had a live webcast instead of the blog :)
All 5 bids are in and we're now waiting for Malay to tabulate the bids and tell us who got last year's runners up - Stallions.
Raghav/Srinivas get Stallions for Rs 10050. Never thought these guys had such big bucks :)
Now the winner from last year - Eastern Gladiators

We have again had the situation like last round with Rs 5000 call coming even before the bid opened. This time also from Mayank/Varun. We're gonna see a tough fight for this.....
Mayank/Varun have had enough of this. Blazers all taken off, as if ready for a fight :)
